During June of 2022 Big Horn County was hit with a major storm, with high winds, rain, and hail. This storm removed 90% of my residential home roof. The wind tore off the metal roofing, shingles, and roofing material off my homes roof. I tried to get quotes from other roofing companies, they either were too busy or outside my budget constraints. I contacted Rowland Medicine Horse thru a relative. Rowland showed up on time and surveyed the damage. His estimate on the removal of the old roof and the replacement of the roof was very reasonable. Rowland and his crew showed up; removed the damaged roof, installed new sheathing, paper and metal. Rowland also added structural support for the rafters in the attic. The area was well maintained and cleaned up completely. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism and work ethic. The work was completed on time and in my budget limits. Since that time, I have had Suwanne River Construction complete some other work. Rowland did the inside wall of my 120x40 garage and added bathroom fan and vent. I am very pleased with his work and abilities. I would recommend Suwanne River Construction aka Rowland Medicine Horse to any residential or commercial building upgrades or repairs.

June 2022 our ranch was hit with a super cell storm. This storm brought extremely high winds, and hail. The damage this storm caused was extensive; my trailer siding, and roof were heavily damaged. My mother's house roof was damaged, our shop collapsed, and our horse barn torn apart. My Uncle recommended Rowland Medicine Horse. Rowland came and gave us a quote for the siding and roof on my home and my mother’s house (which is on the ranch too). Rowland came in and reroofed my mother’s house and then I had him reside and roof our trailer too. With the old metal roofing asked Rowland if he could build me horse barn and he came in and built that for me. During this time, I found a pole barn frame and roof, so l again asked Rowland to erect the pole barn with the roof, we still had some leftover metal, so he used that to build the walls for me too. Rowland knew I had a budget, and he stayed within the budget. Rowland was quick and precise with jobs I had him complete. I would recommend Rowland Medicine Horse to anyone that asks.

He also removed our old kitchen cabinets and replaced them and aiso installed a new sink and faucet. He was very professional and completed the work extremely well! From the beginning of the project, Rowland took a proactive approach. He listened to my concerns and needs and completed three projects on my home consisting of installing a new metal roof, gutters, and a new front porch. I am pleased with the work which was adequately staffed and supervised. I would like to share good, positive information regarding Rowland Medicine Horse and his skills and abilities. Rowland owns his own business called Suwanne River Construction, LLC. I got to know Rowland through the excellent work he did on my house in Lame Deer, Montana from October 2023 thru February 2024. Rowland demonstrated his knowledge and craftsmanship during his work. He did go beyond his scope of work by going the extra mile making my house safe and sound. Rowland was always very considerate when approaching me on the next steps, always keeping me informed about what work he will do next, how long it to work will take, and getting my approval. Another positive thing is that Rowland was willing to travel to Lame Deer from Crow Agency with his tools, materials, and trailer to do the work. I would recommend Rowland for the projects he completed at my house to anyone needing the same work. I found Rowland to be true to his word when it came to completing the work. These are the projects he completed at my house; Rowland replaced 6 windows, one front door/frame, the bathroom door/frame, the entire siding of my house, my tub and tub surround, and heaters and rebuilt the framework under the doorway and the wall behind the tub and well as replaced the drywall behind the tub. Rowland replaced my house windows; 5 windows plus a picture window. The windows were aged and outdated. Under the bathroom window, the old wood was rotted out, so Rowland replaced all that with new lumber. The new windows are very efficient, keeping the cold out, and were fitted. He caulked windows and put window frames around the windows inside and outside. Rowland also replaced the front door with a new door and frame. While he began taking the old door and frame out, Rowland noticed the framework under the doorway was cracked and rotted out. Rowland replaced that with new lumber before installing the door/frame with a new door knob and deadbolt. Rowland replaced the entire siding on my house. I have a one-frame, two-bedroom house. He did a very good job. Each siding is fitted well around the windows and doors, making my house more weatherized. Rowland replaced my outside lights. Rowland also installed new heating. He removed the old baseboard heaters and replaced them with new blowers, four in all. The old baseboard heaters were 36 years old. The new heaters are more convenient for my house, not taking up too much space, and I feel they make the house safer, and more efficient for my home, keeping the house warm. Another project Rowland completed for me was replacing the tub and tub surround. He also had to replace the wall and framework behind my tub with new lumber as well as the drywall. He replaced the wood braces and flooring under the tub. While working in the bathroom, Rowland also replaced my bathroom door. The new door fits well. Recently Rowland Medicine Horse completed a deck build project on the Manager Housing at Chief Plenty Coups State Park. Rowland completed the deck quickly and professionally. Rowland checked in every morning concerning possible weather related delays, informed me of his plans and completed the project quickly. Rowland and his crew were professional, courteous and punctual. A local Tribal Youth Worker also assisted with the project. Rowland took him "under his wing" and helped him develop construction skills that he may use in future jobs. The project was completed to the standards of construction and was professionally done.
